Broadcaster

Joel Norman (Communications Director)

The 2023 season will be Joel’s fifth as the “Voice of the AppleSox.” He is a 2018 graduate of West Virginia University and is spending this offseason in Lincoln, Neb. as the broadcaster and communications director for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League (USHL). Joel is in his second season with the Stars and began broadcasting junior hockey with the Mason City Toros of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) in Iowa in 2021-22. Joel broadcast baseball and lacrosse games for The NCWLIFE Channel in addition to Washington state playoff high school baseball and softball games for KELA in the spring of 2022. He previously broadcasted Chelan and Brewster high school football, basketball and volleyball games from 2018-21 for KOZI.
