Coyote has delighted AppleSox fans of all ages for two decades. Whether it is his home-run howl or signature high-fives, Coyote is sure to make everyone he meets smile. The AppleSox named their mascot Coyote because Coyote played a pivotal role in North Central Washington Native American lore. Coyote was sent to protect the people of the area by fighting off any attackers. Additionally, Coyote brought food to the people and taught them how to catch and cook salmon. Keep an eye out for the trickster during the next newspaper delivery race or ketchup vs mustard race at an AppleSox home game!
