Jose Oglesby - Owner

Jose is a lifelong baseball fan who grew up in Colombia and the Panama Canal Zone listening from far away to MLB radio broadcasts. After coming to the United States, he got the chance to attend hundreds of major and minor league games in person over the years.

He is married to Lauren Feaux, a former software engineer, current special education paraprofessional and special education advocate. They are the parents of Jesse, a graduate of the Excel program at Georgia Tech, and Roxanne, a graduate of Harvey Mudd College. He has learned a lot from Jesse and Roxanne about following your dreams and persevering. Through Jesse, he became involved in Special Olympics as a soccer coach and volunteer.

He also has an interest in baseball statistics and their use to improve team performance. After a long career in software engineering including 26 years at Microsoft, he is realizing a lifelong dream by operating the AppleSox franchise. His goal is to continue the team’s tradition of excellence on the field, customer service, and community involvement.

Allie Schank - General Manager

Allie has been with the AppleSox since 2018, first as the assistant general manager for two seasons before being promoted to general manager in 2020. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she majored in marketing and minored in sports management and consumer economics. While in school, she worked with the athletic department for three years in student-athlete tutoring and accountability services. Allie also was a special-events planner for her sorority, Delta Phi Epsilon, for two years and now, similarly plans events for the AppleSox. She also served as a marketing intern for the University of Georgia Athletic Association, Sleep and Sinuses Centers of Georgia and the 1947 Waterside Venue. In all of these positions, she primarily handled event planning and digital marketing through social media.

Allie enjoys the outdoors and spending time around the Valley with her dog, Colchuck.

Nikolas Sheehan - Director of Sales & Ballpark Operations

Nikolas graduated from WSU in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management and a double minor in Business Administration and Business Economics! While enrolled in the WSU Sport Management program, he spent two seasons in MiLB with the Tri-City Dust Devils Front Office in Pasco. During his tenure with the Dust Devils, he dedicated one season to sales and another to marketing and promotions. Nikolas also contributed to the Seattle Dragons XFL Franchise's Front Office during their inaugural 2020 season as a Ticket Sales & Experience Manager.

Nikolas joined the AppleSox front office as Assistant General Manager at the beginning of 2024 and has since taken over as Director of Sales & Ballpark Operations. Before joining the AppleSox in 2024, Nikolas spent 3+ years with an Aussie tech company, Squiz, as a Business Development Representative, Account Manager, and Account Executive serving local government and higher education customers across the US. In his downtime, he enjoys riding the Peloton, walking, playing with his Corgi, JoJo, and being an all-around sports fanatic!

Joel Norman - Broadcaster & Communications Director

Joel has been the “Voice of the AppleSox” since his spring 2018 graduation from West Virginia University. Joel spends the baseball offseason broadcasting junior hockey, first for the Mason City Toros of the NA3HL in Iowa in 2021-22 and now for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL in Nebrasaka the last three seasons. He has broadcast local high school baseball and softball games for The NCWLIFE Channel on a freelance basis since 2019 while also broadcasting Washington state playoff high school baseball and softball games for KELA in May 2022. He previously called Brewster football and basketball games on KOZI from 2018-21.
