Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Kit Keller (Lori Petty) spar with each other, scout Ernie Capadino (Jon Lovitz) and grumpy has-been coach Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) on their way to fame. Madonna and Rosie O'Donnell co-star as two of the sisters' teammates.

Event Info: AppleSox players come from a wide range of nationally renowned college baseball programs and are among the best players in their class. They are still developing their skills and techniques, which creates a tremendous learning atmosphere.
We are proud of the quality instruction in all the fundamentals of the game that the AppleSox clinics provide. We look for self-improvement with each player. The coaches will be dedicated to helping young players come closer to reaching their baseball dreams. Our goal is for each player to walk away with a positive experience, better baseball fundamentals, and a smile on their face.

West Coast League All-Star Game

Event Info: The 2024 West Coast League All-Star Game will be hosted by the Bellingham Bells, scheduled for a 6:35 pm first pitch on Wednesday, July 17, at the iconic Joe Martin Field in Bellingham, Washington. The two-day extravaganza, spanning July 16th & 17th, promises a series of thrilling events, including a community adaptive baseball game, a player pro-style workout featuring MLB scouts, and a riveting skills challenge featuring top WCL All-Stars.
Enjoy Fan Fest activities including food trucks, family activities, and a beer garden starting at 4:00 pm
WCL All-Star Skills Challenge begins at 5:00 pm (featuring WCL All-Stars competing in various skills challenges)

Event Info: Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is a free event for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 years old that creates a safe and fun environment for kids to stay active and learn or continue to play baseball and softball. Participation gives the athletes a chance to compete and earn a spot in a Team Championship and advance to the Finals.
Athletes are tested on their individual skills in each movement earning a cumulative score at the end of the competition. Based on their scores, they can advance from a Local Competition to a Team Championship and then to the Finals, which is held in conjunction with the MLB World Series.
