Host Families
Do you have an extra bed room and want to have a baseball player to root for all summer? Consider becoming an AppleSox host parent!
HOME FOR THE SUMMER: AppleSox players from around the country stay in the homes of local families during the season, which runs from early June through mid-August. The players are terrific role models for kids in youth baseball programs. They can also be helpful around the house for senior citizens. We consider the AppleSox players to be a real asset to our community during the summer.
BENEFITS: Our host parents are a huge part of our team and we show our gratitude in several ways…
Free season tickets. You can cheer on your player at every game!
Invitation to the annual host family appreciation dinner.
Free registration for host family children to the AppleSox youth instructional clinics.
Recognized on field at the final regular season home game.
Gain lifelong relationships!
REQUIREMENTS: All we ask of AppleSox host parents is to have an extra room and bed in their home and to live in Wenatchee or a neighboring town. The AppleSox play almost every day during the summer and are on the road for half the season.
