APPLESOX SERIES-OPENER VS CORVALLIS POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY 5:05 p.m. DOUBLEHEADER DUE TO AIR QUALITY

The Wenatchee AppleSox series-opening game versus the Corvallis Knights has been postponed to Wednesday, Aug. 2, due to poor air quality in the Wenatchee Valley. The game will be played, Wednesday, as part of a doubleheader with Corvallis, starting at 5:05 p.m.

Fans who purchased tickets to Tuesday’s game will be able to redeem them for admission to Wednesday’s doubleheader.

Both games of Wednesday’s doubleheader will be seven-inning games, the first of which starts at 5:05 p.m. Game two will follow the conclusion of game one, after both pitchers have been allowed a reasonable warmup period.

The AppleSox are currently tied for first in the WCL North and finish the series with the Corvallis Knights Wednesday, Aug. 2 and Thursday, Aug. 3, before heading to Bellingham Saturday-Sunday.
